Boots has been fed and has a total fascination with one of his observation points this morning! I first noticed this new fascination yesterday. Was there a new bird in his view, perhaps a new cat or dog. Maybe we have a squirrel in the trees. Every time he would jump up to the back of the couch he would suddenly crouch down as if he was getting ready to attack something. Well this morning after his first breakfast I finally figured it out. Yesterday Morning Susan put a new table cloth on our picnic table. As I raised the blinds there was Boots on the back of the couch. As soon as he saw it he crouched down. I looked and realized, oh yes, that is different. Out there in the morning light even I could see the the difference the new table cloth made. I wonder how long this will take him to get used to it?
Once Susan get's mobile, she will be off to the big city for her job at Cosco. I believe she plans on bringing the pick-up back on her return trip full with the final load of things that we plan on leaving up here for the storage shed. Today is going to be a long day for her.
So far this week end has been one of the quietest that I can remember. My good friend Donald left for home, yesterday afternoon. He had cousins arrive from Alberta, so decided to go home and possibly take in the stock car races. So that just leaves Susan and I, and one other couple up here in our area.
So today while Susan makes the big treck back and forth to the big city to put her day of work in, I think I will try and keep life simple. Maybe I will play a couple of holes of golf, spend some time on walks with Boots, or just practice sitting back at Building the Simple life.................
