Happy fathers day to all dads from "Gods Country".  We arrived late yesterday afternoon and had everything set-up in record time.  I think it took us like ten minutes.  Thanks to Ed for cutting my grass. Hopefully it does not rain and I can get Derek's cut before he arrives later this morning.
We attended a birthday celebration for Heather last night!  Imagine to be thirty years old again?  Then I thought no, I would rather be fifty.  Why you might ask?  The children are grown up, the grand children have arrived, you have more time for yourself.  How does that saying go?  Oh yes, if I knew my grandchildren where going to be so much fun, I would of had them first!  My attempt at humour this morning.
I am not sure if Donald is going to be calling on me to go for coffee this morning, but I would guess he will probably make some time for this morning ritual.  Speaking of rituals, Boots has fallen back into his routines of guarding the premises.  After all one would not want the dreaded robins bouncing on his domain, or for that matter on the neighbours either..
So for now I think I shall just lay back and rest this Headache.  Remember those pleasant times with my father, who I shall phone later, as these memories are all part of Building the Simple life...................
