Today is the start of a very busy week for the two of us.  Especially Susan.  About nine thirty this morning she leaves for work, then Tuesday evening she returns to the lake for one night.  Wednesday we return to the Saskatoon for family graduation pictures.  Our second oldest grand daughter is graduating from high school.  Then Thursday afternoon we will be attend her graduation ceremonies.
Friday I shall return to the lake with Derek's family, as he plans on having quite a celebration for Brianna's grad. and a Canada day weekend party for family and friends.  Susan has to work Friday and Saturday and shall return to the lake to join us in celebration after her shift on Saturday.
Just a few minor jobs to look after here before I get ready to pack up to go home on wednesday.  One more cutting of the grass, put a couple of things away, and one more watering of the trees.  Everything should be ready for the big weekend.  All we have to do is pray for good weather, and that is entirely in the big guys hands.
So Susan got up early and fed Boots his first breakfast!  This is totally, throwing his routine out of whack, and spoiling him to boot!  No wonders he runs to her, when he knows he is doing something wrong!  He looks back at you, as if to say, "are you sure you want to give me heck now"... BIG BABY!   A very smart cat.
I sure like the new iPhone 4.  With the data link that Susan gave me.  I now can sit at the desk and use the computer, facing east in the morning I can enjoy the morning sunrise!  Before I used to try and get on the internet from the bedroom window, sometimes it would work, sometimes it would not.  It was extremely frustrating, plus it was dial up.  This is fantastic!
So this morning, I will be going for coffee with Donald.  Arrangements were already made yesterday.  His second oldest grandson phoned him yesterday, and told him he can now ride his two wheeler, without training wheels.  He wanted to know how much money he was going to get for such a marvellous achievement.  Donald replied, "well a dollar".  Duder (his nick-name), in his excitement hung up, click!  We both had quite a laugh about this.
So as you can see there will be a lot of memories being made this week for the future generations.  They have there aspirations and goals, just as we had ours, at their age.  We wish the best for them, as they step forward into their next journey in life.  After all, this is also part n part of Susan's and our process in Building the Simple life......................
