Minus 20' C outside this morning, we are expecting to get up into the single digits.  Still on the minus side, but a sunny day just the same!  I did not spend to much time on the bathroom project yesterday, other than do a bit of clean up.  I then moved back into the garage to start setting up my work station as I slowly get it ready for cutting the rest of my trim work.  Today I plan on replacing one small piece of loose glass tile, 1/2 inch x 1/2 inch.  It is loose and needs to be cut out and reset in mortar.  When I talked with Derek he said sometimes this happens, and told me it was not a big deal and how to make a simple repair.  That will just leave a bit of clean up and some prep work, then every thing will be ready for Derek's next visit.
Yesterday we left off when I was sent to RUH by my family Dr.  After a lengthy wait in emergency I was finally seen first by one neurologist.  Then yet another lengthy wait for yet a neurologist.  The first had many concerns with my condition and wanted to get a second opinion.  Both of them confirmed I was suffering from post traumatic concussion syndrome. The likely hood was good that I should have a full recovery.  However, having said that there are no ways to predict the recovery time, based on new information.  (WCB says 3 to 4 months?)  The neurologists were very concerned with the fact of my memory loss of the incident, that it could be an indication that in fact I could have been knocked out!  My balance issues, which they observed, and they then advised not to drive (which I had not).  Then there were the drugs I was put on to work on the pain, which were also not allowed to operate equipment while taking.  There were concerns expressed with the fact that my visit to ST paul had not picked up on me hitting my head, and that further investigation should have been pursued at that time.  Though they are trained in another field of expertise, and I had all the symptoms for a heart attack or stroke!  I felt like another sign of the boy's club sticking together!  Both neurologist's at RUH told us that the extreme headache pain I had felt over the long weekend was probably from some minor brain 'swelling'.  And by staying relaxed and calm all weekend was probably the best thing that could have been done for it (the brain).  Because our Hospital system is so overwhelmed, and the fact Susan was not working at the time they allowed me to be discharged, and treated me as an out patient.  The neurologists, both wanted to make sure that the swelling had in fact had gone down.  The next morning I was called into RUH for my CT scan, which in fact confirmed this fact.  The neurologist gave Susan some helpful information for her to look up to help her help watch over with me and learn how to deal with me.  Somehow WCB has now used this information to say, I never had swelling on the brain, are they in fact a bunch of idiots, because of our failing system.  Or do they just like to manipulate facts to suit their every whim and fantasy?  It still makes me wonder how they can take what they want out of information to suit themselves.  We haven't even gotten started yet, wait until the out right lies start!
In a short while I will go out and brave the cool morning air!  Coffee time is fast approaching.  When I return home I will have a quick breakfast with Susan and then if she feels up to it we will make a fast trip back and forth to the big city, I have a few things to pick up as we continue on our merry way at Building the Simple life.........................
