Thought I had done too much yesterday, until I looked at my weekly medication tray.  There it was staring me in the face, I had forgotten to take my evening medication.  No wonders I had been suffering most of the night.  Yes I know I did over do things a we might, and then with the combination of forgetting to take my medication.  Trouble is, I distinctly remember getting up to go take my pills.  In fact, the container was exactly where I left it when I went to take them before bed time.  I some how must have gotten distracted.  Well, now you know the rest of the story!
Yesterday I possibly got a little overambitious (understatement).  Removed the trim board from behind the fireplace.  Yes it worked for part of the trim behind the fridge.  God was smiling on me yesterday, then reminded me who's the boss today with my headache!  I finished the trim work behind the fridge, then changed out the electrical plug to match the rest in the house.  Centered and levelled the fridge, then removed the remainder of the protective packing film it was delivered with.
I had just finished eating my cucumber sandwich (supper) when Susan came home from her close shift at work!  So I did my clean up, tried to watch the late news, Susan went to the hot-tub, and I went to bed.  Possibly, this was my distraction to missing out on taking my medication.  Sometimes it doesn't take me much, especially if I am already fighting an increased level of headache pain.
Susan and I have to pick up some trim for the edge of the tile either today or tomorrow, plus pick up some hooks to hang my art work.  The hooks we got yesterday are to long, so we shall make one more trip to the big city.  Today is also the first day that the first coat of the protective coat of waterproofing membrane must be painted on.  I would also like to wipe down all the base board material in the basement, and have them ready for their first coat of paint.
Another project susan has asked me to concentrate on this week, is to finish cleaning out the second stall in the front garage.  Currently we are using it as a work/storage station.  Susan's sister will be spending four days, three nights with us next week.  She is in the big city on a training seminar with her job, so she will be spending some time here.  Susan felt it would be nice, if Barb could park her rental (car) inside the garage.  It would be easier on Barb, she may have lost her Canadian stamina for prairie living.  West coast living has a way of doing this to people!  LOL...  So I shall see what I can accomplish.  After all, I wouldn't want Stan (my brother-in-law) accusing me of Barb freezing her petunias off!!
It will be great to see the two sisters reunited in laughter under the same roof, even if it is just in the evenings.  You see, we can not forget laughter!  Because, it is also a very important step in Building the Simple life................
